I'm here to write an entry for my beloved grandad
He passed away at 7.30pm , 15th feb 08
I was with him when he breathe his last
He was admitted to ICU 3 days back , Ward 6A bed 12
Condition worsened this morning as he was gasping for air to breathe through the oxygen mask
Pulse rate hit as high as 150
So, I was called up to rush down to TTSH halfway through my attachment
Praying to the lord along the way

He struggled till 7.30pm before he decides to take his leave
Familes and friends were all there to give him support and reassured him that everything will be taken care off.
It really pains my heart when you see his pulse rate plunge down to a dangerous level of 20 plus
I held on to his hands and stroke his cold face
Grandad, Dont worry, You will be leaving to a place wher there will be no suffering and torture happiness which will be awaitin you
For you did countless things that few people can achieve
The genuine love u gave to the families
The genuine love and concern for all of your patients
The blessings in court that you gave to newly wed couples
The numerous achievements you made in life has gained respect from every single one of LIm's family members

You will forever be alive in my heart
I will keep my promise that I made to you
A very special grandad you are to me
Thanks for all the guidiance that you have always shown me
Your grand-daughter here will hold you tight till forever...

TRIBUTE TO MYGAIL'S GRANDFATHER (YEYE) WHO PASSED AWAY PEACEFULLY ON 15/02/08

First of all, wanna Thank mygail for giving me this space in her blog for me to express my condolence.

A few sentence to describe a great man, a great yeye, a great father to his family members, he is someone i am sure... WILL BE REMEMBERED.
Knowing him for just a short 3 days (unfortunately), i knew from the 1st day that he has a passionate and noble heart.
Walking in as a stranger, he made me felt like one of his children and immediately i felt warmth and loved. With tubes and wires around his body i knew he is in a very uncomfortable position yet he continuosly thank me for coming to visit him despite the pain. Touching his warm hands, i was touched... He was tired... we all knew it...

When he grasp for his last breath, everyone was in silence. Lost for words... sobbing quietly... we all knew someone important and precious is gone.

I wish for yeye to be in peace... that he left the world to somewhere more beautiful without any regrets. I wish that all his family members to pull through this difficult period together and that their health is taken care of.

I will remember you YeYe! May you rest in peace...
